Which is great. I know GWB has got a bit of lousy reputation in Scotland (well most places I suppose except some parts of the US). But for me he has been a genuine inspiration. You get people who are so full of words, all sorts of fancy words, but President Bush likes to use words which don't have any of this educated sort of style. Like me, when he uses a word its just a word. I find it comforting, relaxing even. So now we can generate our own President Bush inspired messages but more than that, we can share it with you all.

Can you imagine wanting to do that with Hilary Clinton or Guiliani! I think not. As a little seasonal aspect I got one of the Cereproc guys to post the Jingle bells sample on You Tube. Working out how to change Flash to AVI was completely beyond me. Anyway here it is below... Happy Christmas!

Scottish and Newcastle: Its a tennent of faith

Hear hear for plucky British company S&N! True they don't make beer in Scotland or Newcastle anymore but who wants the Danish with their better brewing practises and less experience with monopoly beer franchises to ruin our good old Scottish pint. Admittedly I'm more of a Hoegarden man myself (well normally a G&T or a decent Chenin Blanc) but happy to buy the next man a pint of McKewans as much as I'd by anyone a drink if they asked for it.

Seems Carlsberg were wanting to buy S&N. I say no! We need several different brands of fizzy not very alcoholic lager. Let Idyacy offer a solution. Change the name to "&: (The brewery formerly knows as Scottish and Newcastle)", buy the sponsorhip of T in the Park and rename it "& in the Park", buy all that electric white lightening zapper cider and rebrand it as a cool Scottish Cider which you drink from a bottle over ice with a Bucky chaser and return S&N to the hearts of Scotland.

Just think what will happen if they go. We'd have a foreign company ruining our pubs instead of a good British one with a head office in Scotland!

P.S. While we are at it we should also start a campaign to prevent the EU from banning Lorne sausage.

We're in stealth mode so I can't say much about what are long term
goals will be. Our ideas are so innovative that even mentioning that we
have them makes us a target for acquisition (wait in line guys
please!).

What I can say is that I've put together the best people who were
still willing to work for me from vocsgrafix, and we are going to do
some cool technology for the kids. A sort of social networking, on
line gaming, second life, speech technology, avatar driven, internet
search and online auctioning type of deal.

So why me! Well, after raising 20 million dollars for vocsgrafix in
2000 and building the company up to 40 employees at its high point you
can see I've got the track record for doing something pretty
special. Now vocsgrafix has been successfully sold for 2 million, it's
time for me to invest my time and pretty special skills in a new
project.

Hazardous Drinking

I noticed that drinking limits were in the news lately.

Nice to note that hazardous drinking isn't the same as drinking to excess. Drinking to excess is what we do in Scotland. Hazardous drinking is watching football in a Scottish pub and supporting England.

Drowning can also be regarded as a form of excess drinking although I'm told it causes less damage to your liver which is 'a good thing'.
